Rush was a puppy that I hadn't intended on keeping, even though good friends and long time Chesapeake breeders Gary & Dorene Irish told me he was something worth keeping.  As time went on and Rush was still not sold, and I had to agree, he was looking better every day both in and out of the field.

In October of 2005 Rush started his achievements by winning Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes over an entry of 81 dogs at the ACC National Specialty. In November he took a BOB over the specials under judge Ann Katona at the Fort Wayne, IN shows. In 2006 Rush continued to show while training for his SH title.  By fall he had acquired 2 SH legs, and in December completed his CH title, later in June of 2007 at 2 1/2 years, Rush achieved his SH title.
On March 2nd, 2008 he took a Best Of Breed win at the American Chesapeake Club's supported entry at Cobo Hall under judge Nathaniel Horn out of the Hunting Dog Class, beating 8 specials and 31 other class dogs Rush is one of only a few Chesapeakes to achieve a win like this, from the Hunting Dog class.   The following week Rush took 2 more BOB wins at the Logansport Shows in Auburn, IN.  Rush finished 2008 in the top 20 in AKC Breed Standings.  Since then he continue to train with the rest of the crew in the summer and is spends his falls and winters hunting.

Rush is a strong driven hunting dog with tons of desire and with an exceptional temperment.

Thank you again Gary & Dorene and Irish's
Clover Leaf Kennel, for allowing me to breed to your wonderful
dogs and for helping pick out another well accomplished and brilliant hunting companion. Since breeding into the Irish lines, once Rush finishes his MH title I will have achieved 3 MH/CH titled dogs in 3 years.

Rush is available to approved females  For more information on Rush contact Feather Haven Chesapeakes:
